Crowfield is an Unlicensed Airfield and visitors must acquire PPR by telephone due to restrictions on the number of movements and types of aircraft which my use this airfield.
  • No multi-engined aircraft.
  • No singles over 180hp or 1200kgs AUW.
  • No single seaters, Gliders, Microlights or Helicopters.
During weekdays arrivals should contact Wattisham APP on 125.80 when at least 15nm from Wattisham.
During weekdays departures should contact Wattisham APP on 125.80 while still on the ground at Crowfield or ASAP after takeoff and unless otherwise instructed must not fly above 800FT QFE while within the 5nm of Crowfield.
